Goddess in some places, god in others--
The moon sings in particular to women, for we wear it: a sickle smile, half moons at either hip, twin globes above the torso, and of course, our hearts aglow in soft, soothing silver light. ~
A waxing crescent moon of textured glowing pale blue opalescent stained glass is the centerpiece of this one of a kind, handcrafted necklace.
Hand cut stained glass within a detailed clay frame, painted with an antiqued gold finish. Adorned with a complementing aquamarine bead.
Pendant is @ 3/4 of an inch at widest, @ 1 3/4 of an inch long from top of the pendant to bottom of the bead.
Necklace measures @ 24 inches long but can be worn shorter. (Length can be adjusted upon request when purchased.)
Parrish Relics are one of a kind and handmade in my one-woman (& two helpful cats) jewelry studio at . Time and care is spent collecting tiny shards of jewel toned stained glass that I find inspiring and captivating ~
Clay frames are formed around them to pay tribute to the beautiful colors and textures, the history that Stained Glass in Architecture brings to mind. Alchemically hand painted to match the metal components in the chains and findings, they become unique adornments that start conversations and are joyful to wear.
All orders are sent beautifully gift packaged in stamped recycled pillow boxes or organza bags, along with a care sheet and my favorite mossy tissue paper.
